Terms of purchase

Payment

VAT is included in all prices, but shipping is added where appropriate. Payment is made Cash On Delivery or by card on the Internet. We use the CertiTrade payment system (www.certitrade.net), which allows customers to pay with Visa, MasterCard or Diners. For sales using debit/credit cards, the terms come into force as soon as the card transaction has been approved. There is no additional charge for payment by card. Interest on overdue payments is charged at 2% per month from the due date in the event of delayed payment. Bölebyns Garveri reserves the right to make changes to prices, to correct incorrect prices and to sell out of items. If any information is obviously incorrect, this may force Bölebyns Garveri to cancel the purchase and refund any monies paid in the most expedient manner possible. This may take place at any time during a transaction once an error has been discovered. The cause of the problem must be reported clearly to the customer when the purchase is cancelled. 

Delivery and cancellation

Items are normally delivered within 3-5 days as long as they are in stock. This is stated on the website. Delivery takes place by post/courier/e-mail. Ordered products are delivered in accordance with the order. When the customer is of the opinion that delivery is taking so long that he or she no longer requires the order to be delivered, it is the responsibility of the customer to cancel the order in accordance with Bölebyns Garveri’s terms of purchase. It is not possible to cancel goods once an order has been dispatched. If an order has been dispatched, the customer is obliged to receive the order. It is not possible to cancel any product or service that has been acquired or prepared especially for the customer. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has received confirmation of this from Bölebyns Garveri by either e-mail or fax.

 

Ordering

If the customer is under 18, the permission of a parent or guardian must be sought before the purchase is made. Ordering in the name of another person without the permission of that person, or any other kind of ordering that causes a financial loss for Bölebyns Garveri will be reported to the police. Bölebyns Garveri accepts no responsibility for printing errors, errors in information or errors in specifications for any products or services in the Bölebyns Garveri range. All images are for illustrative purposes only and cannot be guaranteed to reproduce the exact appearance and nature of the products.

Applicability

These terms of purchase will be applicable unless Swedish or other applicable law prescribes terms conflicting with these. The Swedish Consumer Sales Act is applicable to private consumers, along with the Swedish Distance Sales Act, which also includes protection for the selling company.

Retention of title

All goods remain the property of Bölebyns Garveri until full payment has been made.

Liability for errors

Bölebyns Garveri’s liability for errors in delivery is limited to applicable terms of sale. Bölebyns Garveri bears no direct or indirect liability for – but not limited to – incompatibility, delivery delays, stoppages, data losses, additional labour or other financial loss.

Complaint terms and cooling-off period

It is advisable for customers to check items when they are delivered in order to verify that they are correct and flawless. In the event of a complaint, the customer must contact Bölebyns Garveri by telephone on +46 911 62023, by e-mail at info@bolebynsgarveri.se or via the Bölebyns Garveri website at www.bolebynsgarveri.se and specify the order number and reason for the complaint. The customer must give full contact details whenever an item is returned to Bölebyns Garveri. Defective products returned to Bölebyns Garveri should be handled as if they were flawless. For all types of return, it is extremely important for the product to be packaged so that there is no risk of damage to it. The Swedish Consumer Sales Act is applicable to private consumers, which means that the customer is entitled to have shipping paid for in the event of a valid return. With Bölebyns Garveri, private consumers are entitled to have a prepaid parcel label sent to them. If the return is not valid and the customer has received a prepaid parcel label, the cost of shipping to and from Bölebyns Garveri will be charged. If the reason for the return is a complaint and no fault can be found, a charge of SEK 200 + VAT + shipping to and from Bölebyns Garveri will be charged, along with a handling fee. Bölebyns Garveri reserves the right to replace a defective item with an equivalent item if no identical item is available.

 

Private consumers are entitled to change their minds about purchases within 14 days in accordance with the Swedish Distance Sales Act. The cooling-off period is applicable in accordance with the said Act only if the item and its original packaging can be sent back essentially unchanged. The item must not have been used. If a customer wishes to exercise these cooling-off rights, he or she must contact Bölebyns Garveri. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the consumer. Exchange rights, the returns policy and cooling-off period are not applicable in the case of products specially made for a particular customer.


Unclaimed parcels

For parcels which are not claimed, resulting in the parcel being returned to Bölebyns Garveri, a fee of SEK 250 + VAT will be charged in order to cover Bölebyns Garveri’s transport and administration costs.

 

Goods damaged in transit

If an item from Bölebyns Garveri is damaged in transit, irrespective of whether the damage is concealed or clearly visible, this must be reported to the shipping agent immediately, but within 7 days at the latest.

 

Force majeure

Incidents such as war, natural disaster, industrial disputes, authority decisions, subcontractors failing to deliver, circumstances leading to price increases and other comparable incidents beyond the control of Bölebyns Garveri and which could not reasonably have been predicted must be attributed to force majeure, which means that Bölebyns Garveri will be released from its obligations to fulfil contracts entered into.

 

Other

Bölebyns Garveri reserves the right to amend all information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications and product offers, without prior notice. If an item for sale is sold out at the stated price, or an item is no longer available, Bölebyns Garveri will be entitled to cancel the purchase and refund any monies paid in the most expedient manner possible. Bölebyns Garveri shall also notify the customer if a replacement or equivalent product is available.
